Two kinds of product in one grid
This page carries topical formulas you apply — serums, moisturisers, emollients and sunscreens — alongside the oral lines filed under hair, skin and nails. They are not interchangeable, so every card names which of the two it is before you open the product page, and the hyaluronic and sun-care lines that once had shelves of their own resolve here.
Packaging, opened shelf life and sun-care regulation
Topicals carry a period-after-opening mark — an open jar printed 6M, 12M or 24M — that sets how long the formula is intended to be used once the seal is broken. It is a separate date from the expiry on the carton, and it is the one that usually runs out first. Airless pumps and opaque tubes are used where a formula is sensitive to light or air, which is common for serums.
Primary sunscreens are therapeutic goods in Australia: they carry an AUST L number and a tested SPF rating, both of which appear on the pack and on the product page. A cosmetic carrying an incidental SPF is regulated differently and shows no such number, and the listing reflects whichever applies.

- What does the open-jar symbol mean?
- It is the period after opening: the number of months the manufacturer intends the formula to be used once unsealed, printed as 6M, 12M or 24M. It runs from the day you open the pack, independently of the expiry date on the carton.
- Are sunscreens regulated differently from the rest of this page?
- Primary sunscreens are therapeutic goods and carry an AUST L number with a tested SPF rating. Cosmetics with an incidental SPF are not, and carry neither. The listing reproduces whatever the pack declares.
- Do you list both topical and oral products here?
- Yes, and the card says which. Serums, moisturisers, emollients and sunscreens are applied; the hair, skin and nails lines are tablets and capsules taken by mouth.
- How should serums be stored?
- At room temperature, out of direct sunlight, with the cap or pump closed. A few formulas ask to be kept below a stated temperature and print that on the carton. A bathroom shelf is the warmest and most humid spot in most homes.
