Each capsule is housed in an Activ-Vial desiccant-lined bottle, which is designed to help keep the probiotic strains stable at room temperature, so refrigeration isn't required. This Australian formulation is vegetarian (not vegan) and is made without dairy protein, lactose, egg, wheat, nuts, soy protein, artificial preservatives, flavours or colours, though it may contain traces of gluten.
